Wedding Detail: My Wedding Shoes

Wedding shoes – probably one of the details most of the brides are excited to plan. Well, probably not me- I am not really a shoe person – more of a bag person. I had a hard time picking the right shoes for me – it wasn’t really my thing. I had a few brands in my list but instead of choosing the “red sole” (Christian Louboutin), Stella Luna or Jimmy Choo, I chose TOMS to be my wedding shoes. Three reasons are:

1. They are very comfy and I’m sure I can last wearing wedges (but I love how loub’s stilettos are designed)

2. I’ve been wanting to own Toms. Yeah, my first time to get myself a pair of Toms. But after this purchase, I’m thinking of getting a second pair because…

3. Personally, I love the idea of donating a pair of shoes for every purchase of Toms. This idea has touched me because aside from myself owning a new pair of shoes, a child can also own a pair of shoes at the same time.

I was quite surprised with how the shoes are packaged. It came with a sticker and a shoe pouch. I was actually delighted – congratulations to Toms’ Marketing Team! Happy bride here! Here comes my Toms package!

How I Made It Thru My Laziness

I woke up one morning and thought, I want to shop! But I was too lazy to get up and dress myself to pass by malls before I go to work. And then, I remembered my good friend Zalora. I wasn't really a fan of buying things online (especially huge amounts) because I feel my credit card might get screwed and might end me owing something I did not purchase. Thank you for spending time to read my posts. Some of them may be non-sense to you, some may be relevant. I'm just happy expressing herself by sharing my thoughts. It's a Girl!

Finally after 30 weeks, Lester and I are happy to announce that we are having a baby GIRL! It took that long because we’re the kind of couple who’s obedient to the OB- have ultrasound when needed. Last time we checked, the OB did not confirm Little Javier’s gender though she told us that this little one is most likely a baby girl. Lester was still positive to have a baby boy- he still has 40-30% chance. But hey, it doesn’t matter- after all, we can still make another one :). It must be the genes- my mom gave birth to 5 children- 4 of us are girls and our youngest is a boy (can you just imagine how Little C feels when he’s at home?). Lester was already dreaming of playing with his little one, teaching how to play PS, bike and all those boy stuff while I was already imagining cooking, baking and doing girly stuff with our little Javier- and I won!
