On-the-Day Wedding Coordinator

Recently, engagements here and there are happening and wedding planning was the second best part of getting married (aside from of course, "getting married"). When Lester and I were starting the wedding plans, we initially thought of getting my sister and cousins to help me on our wedding day because we were carefully planning which of the expenses we can eliminate. After a couple of bookings for suppliers, we realized that on-the-day wedding coordinator is really a must. Thanks to my sister-in-law for sending us budget that we were supposed to put for musicians but we opted to use it for OTD. :) Budget tip: It's always a big help and it's not bad to receive wedding budget help from your families and friends :) But use it wisely!  However, there's a big responsibility behind getting an OTD. Still, you must do your planning carefully, and everything must be in order. I suggest to extensive research on wedding planning. There are lots of checklists, wedding time...

Beautiful Churches in Manila

Some of the beautiful churches we've visited during the past few days: 1. Chapel of San Pedro Calungsod in SM Aura 2. Reconstructed Manila Cathedral 3. Paco Church - located inside the vicinity of Paco Cemetery. I love this place! Spot.ph just recently posted Top 10 Prettiest Churches in Manila and I was surprised to see our wedding church in the list (more proud to say the church made it to the top 5). It was quite easy for Lester and I to decide to get married here. At first, we considered this church because of its location and privacy since it's located inside West Triangle. But the Church's solemnity and beauty are more inviting that made me feel that this is the place that I want to get married. Happy bride again!

Wedding Detail: My Wedding Shoes

Wedding shoes – probably one of the details most of the brides are excited to plan. Well, probably not me- I am not really a shoe person – more of a bag person. I had a hard time picking the right shoes for me – it wasn’t really my thing. I had a few brands in my list but instead of choosing the “red sole” (Christian Louboutin), Stella Luna or Jimmy Choo, I chose TOMS to be my wedding shoes. Three reasons are: 1.        They are very comfy and I’m sure I can last wearing wedges (but I love how loub’s stilettos are designed) 2.        I’ve been wanting to own Toms. Yeah, my first time to get myself a pair of Toms. But after this purchase, I’m thinking of getting a second pair because… 3.        Personally, I love the idea of donating a pair of shoes for every purchase of Toms. This idea has touched me because aside from myself owning a new pair of shoes, a child can also own a pair of ...

Wedding Inspiration: Wedding Reception

Pictures from google and brideandbreakfast I love rustic and chabby chic wedding themes. It's very feminine, simple and elegant. Chabby chic themes use light colors, more of pastels - pink, peach, pastel green and gray. We're entrusting our reception look to our food supplier. It's much cheaper and still, what's more important is the food! We've requested for lower center tables so our guests will see each other. But even so, table setting doesn't really matter to me. I know my priorities and reception look is quite one of my least.  I enjoy browsing thru blogs and get inspirations. For the past year, google has been my best buddy and bride and breakfast has been my adopted sister. For brides to be out there, keep on reasearching and enjoy looking at wedding pictures. You may not have achieved the kind of look you want on your wedding, but hey! You only plan for your wedding once so enjoy the every moment!
