Wedding Inspiration: Wedding Gown

I came across Patty Laurel-Filart's blog and found out this wedding gown shop from Spain - Rosa Clara. I have not seen the Rosa Clara shop in Makati but I've been scouting in their website their designs and I have absolutely fell in love with their designs. Rosa Clara's designs are classic and elegant. Even the Soft by Rosa Clara wedding dresses are lovely - those you can wear if you're having a civil wedding or a beach wedding. I got my wedding gown inspiration from Rosa Clara. It wasn't easy picking the wedding gown design. I ended up choosing a lot! Among those wedding gowns, I picked the chosen one and never went back to their website. I might end up choosing more!

Cooking Fever: Gising-Gising

I cooked this once for my husband to satisfy his spicy taste. I first tried this in Recipes and found it yummy. :) Ingredients: Garlic, chopped Onions (Red), chopped Baguio beans, chopped into pieces Ground Pork Red Chili Pepper, chopped Green Chili Peppers (Siling haba) Coconut milk Salt, pepper and soy sauce to taste 1. Saute onions and garlic. Add the ground pork. 2. Add a little bit of soy sauce to taste. 3. Once the pork is cooked, add Coconut Milk. For this recipe, I used the instant ones (just add water!) but I think it'll taste better if you use those you can buy from the market. 4. Add Baguio beans (not string beans!) and all the chilis - depending on your taste. I used less red ones but separated my share because I'm not really into spicy food (except sisig!) 5. Worries of a Soon-to-be-Mom

Gestational Diabetes- that’s what my OB has been suspecting that might have two weeks ago when I had my check up. I’m guessing it was the mangoes, juice, and white rice and I thought the amount I was eating was just enough to satisfy my craving. But it seems not- though my endo was not really worried about it because my blood sugar and urine tests show normal results, my OB still insists I might have one. I was even thinking my OB is just over-acting on the situation and even still asked me to see the in-house endo in the hospital where I will give birth. It worries me a lot though – I see my daughter getting bigger everyday. I feel very normal though – I am not a big preggo mom. But with that suspicion, I needed to prick my finger three times a day for two weeks to check my blood sugar. All of these foods are very tempting but I’m doing this for my daughter. It's a Girl!

Finally after 30 weeks, Lester and I are happy to announce that we are having a baby GIRL! It took that long because we’re the kind of couple who’s obedient to the OB- have ultrasound when needed. Last time we checked, the OB did not confirm Little Javier’s gender though she told us that this little one is most likely a baby girl. Lester was still positive to have a baby boy- he still has 40-30% chance. But hey, it doesn’t matter- after all, we can still make another one :). It must be the genes- my mom gave birth to 5 children- 4 of us are girls and our youngest is a boy (can you just imagine how Little C feels when he’s at home?).
